Big Names, Small Art at the Crocker

Artist from across the Sacramento region mingled with collectors, connoisseurs and the curious at the Crocker Art Museum’s annual BNSA, Big Names, Small Art party held May 21st. An eclectic array of small-format artworks, running the gamut from timid to bold, were showcased in the museum’s out-door courtyards. The festive evening provided an ideal format for art lovers to view and purchase works donated by over 120 emerging and established local artists. Silent bidding started at $25 and all pieces were less than 12 x 12 inches in size, making the paintings, ceramics, and sculptures affordable and easy to carry home.
